Emily’s life changes after losing her eyesight, while a guide dog struggles with training. Through a series of missed encounters both overcome their obstacles and find each other. Starring Sarah Drew, Antonio Cupo and Eric McCormack.

Dealing with disappointments and setbacks in life and learning to accept help from others; that’s what this movie is all about. I thought the talking dog was going to be a gimmick, but it’s more like hearing Garth’s thoughts and it was charming. The supporting cast make this movie, especially Matty Finnochio who brings such warmth and love to his awkward workaholic character. It was wonderful to watch Emily open herself up to friendship, possibilities, and bird songs.

Favorite Quote: Accepting help from others seems unavoidable unless you want to sit here forever… which seems boring.
Favorite Kiss: The puppy ones of course, especially when Garth meets Emily for the first time.
