A hard-working, single mom gets into a war of words with a neighbor who she feels is ruining Christmas, only to find that this misunderstood grouch just may steal her heart. Starring Natalie Hall and Corey Sevier.

I meant to review all the Christmas movies I watched in July and I will…. Eventually. Noel Next Door is a good one to single out, though. I catch it at least twice a year and no wonder. The two leads are incredibly charming and real. No one is too perfect. The topics this movie addresses are more complex and they struggle through and still find their happily ever after with no easy answers. There’s a kid who acts out and lies! There’s an acrimonious divorce! There’s a tampon joke!

Favorite Quote: -Wait. I thought you had something against Christmas? -When I’m with you, all I can think about is Noelle.
Favorite Kiss: That first perfect date ending with the almost kiss interrupted by Santa of course and Corey being all swoony.
