This movie was a breath of fresh air. Hallmark doesn’t make enough fall movies and they certainly don’t make enough Halloween movies so this was a treat. I am always excited to start a Jeff Beesley movie because he brings along great character actors and this time we got the super talents of Lauren Coltrane, Dan De Jagaer and Eric Athavale! The leads were fun too with Dominic playing two parts and two accents with panache. The world of nerdy ghost hunters who stumble upon an actual ghost was enough to keep me watching but I loved the emotional heart of the story with Jana opening herself up after heartbreak.
